The final installment of the Ruinous Love trilogy hits all the great tropes: friends with benefits, forced proximity, one bed, and the yearning! This slow burn SPICY romance with amazing banter needs to be added to your TBR; sorry not sorry.
The audiobook was fantastic! Doc McSpicy may be my favorite Kane brother.

I do suggest, however, that you read the first two installments of the Ruinous Love trilogy before reading this. This book is a HUGE spoiler for the relationships that are featured in the first two books. I’m still not sure which book is my favorite, but I will say this one is not as “gross” as the first two. There are trigger warnings provided in the beginning and I feel like it was less than the others.
Right in the beginning we figure out who the serial killer is in this relationship. This person stabs a man in the eye (well-deserved) and gets their leg broken in the process. If you’ve read Butcher & Blackbird, you know that this person is Rose who then gets aid from Fionn Kane, the town doctor. But Fionn has some secrets of his own, like being a part of the Suture Sisters, a crochet group of women. Tension builds as Fionn invites Rose to stay with him at his place until Rose’s leg gets better. Will these acquaintances trust each other to stay that way or will feeling start to grow?
