The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena
This was a pretty entertaining book that had me listening intently trying to find out who did it! I needed to know! The audiobook was pretty good and the story was well-paced. I do prefer audiobooks that feature two narrators for both female and male characters, this one only had a female narrator. Another thing that did bother me though–after finishing this book–I still don’t know which is the “couple next door” is.
I was hooked from the very beginning. I needed to know how this book ended! I thought the twist was well done and I really enjoyed that conclusion!

Review on Fable
Throughout the book we get different perspectives so it doesn’t help to figure out who’s the couple the book’s title refers to. This is my first book by author Shari Lapena. I thought it was pretty exciting and the characters were well written. I wasn’t sure who to trust; it was a classic whodunit.

When someone steals Marco’s and Anne’s baby in the middle of the night, no one know who could have possibly taken her. Marco and Anne were at their neighbors house with the baby monitor, keeping an eye on the baby from afar. Things start to unravel as the lead detective thinks someone close to the couple knows more than they let on. I can’t talk about it too much without revealing the plot but overall I recommend it!
